Board of Water Commissioners Meeting

Attendees: Ivan Beattie (chair), Doug Kilburn and Lambert Zoller.

Other Attendees: John O'Keefe (Town Manager), Dave Sheldon (Water Superintendent) and Christina Legge.

Beattie called the meeting to order at 9:05AM.

Minutes from April 27, 2011

Kilburn moved, seconded by Zoller, to approve the minutes from April 27, 2011. Motion carried 3-0.

Projects Update

Legge and Sheldon updated the Board on the progress of ongoing construction projects, including Franklin, Dillingham and Williams streets and Highland Avenue. Board took no action.

Excavation Contractors

The Board, O'Keefe and Sheldon discussed excavation contractors and decided to use Ed Thompson, when possible, for excavation work.

Employee Handbook

After lengthy discussion, Zoller moved, seconded by Kilburn, to approve the Employee Handbook, as drafted and as approved by the Board of Sewer Commissioners and Selectboard. Motion carried 3-0.

Kilburn moved, seconded by Zoller, to adjourn. Motion carried 3-0.
